![]() ![]() I honestly do not understand why the devs keep us limited to 50 Units throughout the entire game. This would drastically reduce the amount of ships needed and therefore also reduce the end game complexity (which is already pretty high) by a fair bit. ![]() ![]() Of course research costs should increase quickly, so your maximum Cargo size would be limited by the number of your scholar population. One way could be for example the option to increase the cargo size limit by 5 through research. As you further progress through the game, you should also have some way to increase the cargo limit as well. But your Cargo Limit stays at 50 constantly. You unlock new items, you unlock tractors, you unlock electricity. If you only have 60t of Bread in your Warehouse it'll load 60t of Bread onto your ship but then unload all 60t again. The game requires you to constantly improve and rethink your layouts and production. If you have 150t of Bread in your Warehouse it'll load all of it onto your ship and then Unload 100t leaving you with 50t of bread on the ship that it will sell to the NPC of your choice. I got like 5 Ships on Coffee Route, 5 Ships on Rum Route, 3 Ships on Chocolate Route, 3 Ships on Cigar Route. For example I am "only" at 30k Investors and 30k Scholars (which really isn't THAT much) but I already need so many Ships on my routes just to fulfill their enormous needs. ![]() With a growing population (speaking of "Endgame"), I noticed the high amount of ships I need for my trade routes. There are no Items for Ships that increase it. What really bothers me in Anno 1800 is that the Cargo Size of all Ships is limited to 50 Units max. ![]()
